This was the first harp I bought when I started playing 10 years ago. I love the extra low notes which allow sweet blues riffs that sound great especially when played through a crunchy amp. The wooden comb provides a great tone and the construction of this model of Hohner is really good. Due to the added length I have bent the cover plate twice while carrying it in my pocket (I always keep it in the case now), but I was able to bend it back easily. Either way, this harmonica sounds great and I'd recommend it to anyone. I played it almost everyday for 2 years and it still sounds great 10 years from the purchase date.

This is an excellent harmonica for a basic player. It was the first I bought and ended up sticking with it because I like it so much and they last a while. Great for beginners and great sound for playing basic chords and such with guitar. If you're looking to get started and pairing with guitar, buy it in the key of C.
