    How many frets does the neck have ? Is it a narrow neck like a Jazz bass or wider li(e a precision bass? These questions also pertain to the violin bass as well.

    They are both 22 frets, and the neck is actually somewhere between the P and J bass neck size.

    I have an Allen Woody Rumblekat bass that I am looking to use as a trade in for this Red Hofner Ignition bass, my question is can I get one of these Hofners at the store in Grand Chute?
