Worth the money!

Mine just came in and I love it!!! I play in D most of the time, but when I wanna soften up or do a cover in standard, I have to stop what I'm doing and tune back up. This thing is very handy-dany when it come to defeating having to stop and tune up and back down. I have the black one on a Epi. Les Paul Special bass. Although it cuts off about 1/3 of the string post, if you only wrap it twice, you're good. Over-wrapping messes up the drop capability anyways from the reviews I've read. So, after the ranting, this is worth your money! It's an amazing product! If you drop tune your bass and sometimes do standars or vice-versa, buy this!!!

Waste of money

I'll start by saying I've had it on a bass for over 6 years and don't use it. It's built well, I'll give it that but I have to fine tune after the fact weather l am ingaging or disabling the drop feature on the tuner. If you can tune just as fast without it what's the point.

It fits nice. It looks good. It seems to be well built. Install and adjustment was pretty straight forward and it's so nice to just flip that lever to change your tuning! ! So much faster! !

I have an Epiphone Thunderbird bass. I tried to install this tuner and it wouldn't fit in the hole where the original tuner was. Brought it to my tech, he used a dremel to bore the hole to size. It is installed now and working great. Very accurate tuning once you get it tuned to pitch.

Installation for me was confusing, but after I mounted it up, tuned the E string up to pitch. It worked great. Had to get the fine tuner in tune to my drop I use it for. I installed it on my Ibanez SR400.
