Hercules EZPack Guitar Stand for Both Acoustic & Electric Guitars

Description
The innovative Hercules EZPack Guitar Stand, brought to you by experts in instrument accessories, is a cleverly designed stand that folds down to the size of a paperback novel so you can easily pack it in your guitar case or gig bag and always have a stand ready. Though highly portable, the EZPack stand is built to securely hold acoustic and electric guitars up to 22 pounds. Made with rubber contact points for long-lasting durability, it's the ideal solution for any guitarist on the go.
Folds Flat for Easy Transport
The EZPack stand's space-saving design lets you take it anywhere without hassle. When open, it provides a sturdy base and neck support for your guitar, but when folded, it's a mere 1.69" thick—perfect for tucking into your case pocket or backpack. You'll never again have to balance your guitar against a wall or lean it in a corner where it's prone to falling over. The EZPack gives you peace of mind that your guitar will remain safe and secure no matter where you roam.
Protects Your Guitar's Finish
With its rubber contact points the EZPack stand is uniquely suited to cradle your guitar without risk of scratches or scuffs. The pads distribute weight and prevent rubbing on the points where the guitar meets the stand. Even the harshest bump or jostle won't put your guitar's finish in jeopardy. When you're ready to play, simply lift your guitar from the stand with confidence, knowing its surface remains pristine.
A Stand for All Guitars
Whether you play acoustic, electric or both, the EZPack stand is designed to accommodate any guitar in your collection. Its open frame provides ample space for larger body styles, while rubberized claws and neck rest securely hold your guitar in an upright position. A versatile stand, the EZPack is ideal for guitarists with varied tastes or who prefer the flexibility of a stand suitable for all their instruments.

Fits in Gig Bag, What'd You Expect? The Spanish Inquisition?
I shopped pretty hard for a very flat-folding guitar stand I can slide into a gig bag, and this is the result. Hercules products are solid, this thing folds down as flat as they get, which is to about the size of a 300-page supermarket paperback. My Ibanez S feels secure in it, a hard bump would knock it over, but it's a guitar stand. The goal is not to bump them and knock it over. The ability for a guitar to fall when it's on a stand that folds to the size of a thickish pick tin. It's a tradeoff. This is a 4 because it doesn't feel as quality as I expected. No problems as of yet, but it unfolds using a gear system to unfold front and back extensions at the same time, which is cool but unnecessary and sounds like a problem when the plastic pieces of the unit don't feel as solid as I thought they would. Gearing the feet of the unit together in a way that's structural might mean that the extensions no longer support the stand if the gears or gear teeth break. The flimsy feeling, plastic gears/teeth... I'll keep it, and I think this is almost the best you can find for what I was looking for. I wish Guitar Center sold the similar folding stand from Ibanez. GUITAR CENTER. (JK, GC 4 Lyfe.)

Would not buy this again....Flimsy...
It works o.k. with an acoustic guitar. As described, contact surfaces are coated with nonslip material. The problem I found was when I put my Les Paul or Duo Jets on the stand, the stand begins to spread apart. The button straps end up touching the floor. If Hurculis put a support strap at the base, this product would most likely support the heavier solid body guitars, and cause me to change my rating.

I needed a handy but simple and transportable stand for my D-35 and my Les Paul. Both fit nicely and are stable in the stand. I really like how it folds up, too!

The stand is very compacted when traveling, just toss in the cable bag and go. Saves extra space in the trunk compared to a standard stand.

This is great for home use since it is able to hold the guitar safely but not if there are lots of people moving around it. This stand holds the guitar from the bottom and no other supports so your guitar can easily be knocked off from the stand if someone is not careful around it. I'd still recommend this for home use and placed in a corner that doesn't have much traffic.

Will this work well with a thunderbird style bass guitar?
Unfortunately, no. I have a Thunderbird. I use a regular stand, you can pivot the bottom at the correct angle. The EZ arms don't pivot.
