Description
The GS414BPLUS guitar stand is a revolutionary solution for musicians seeking a single stand to support a wide array of instruments. Featuring an Auto-Grip yoke designed to grip acoustic, electric and bass guitar necks from 1.57 to 2.05", as well as a Narrow Instrument Neck Adjustment (NINA) accessory to support ukuleles, mandolins, banjos and more, this stand provides unparalleled versatility and convenience for performers.
Auto-Grip Yoke Safely Holds Most Guitars
The Auto-Grip yoke is specially engineered with adjustable arms to grip a variety of guitar neck widths, securely holding your instrument in place without risk of scratches or damage. Whether you play a classic, acoustic, electric or bass guitar, the GS414BPLUS stand can accommodate it.
Height Adjustment Allows for Quick Changes
Thanks to an instant push-button height-adjustment mechanism, you can quickly and easily change the height of the stand to suit your needs. The locking pin ensures the stand remains securely at your desired height, providing maximum stability for your instrument.
Narrow Neck Accessory Supports Ukulele, Mandolin and More
With the included Narrow Instrument Neck Adjustment (NINA) accessory, the GS414BPLUS stand can support narrow-necked instruments like ukuleles, mandolins, banjos and violins in addition to guitars. The adjustable arms provide a snug yet gentle grip to keep your instrument stable without risk of damage.
Durable, Protective Design
High-friction rubber feet provide a sturdy base, while specially formulated foam on all contact points—including the legs—helps prevent scratches to your instrument's finish. Available at Guitar Center, you can rest assured your gear will remain safe and protected on the GS414BPLUS stand.

Nice and sturdy.
I have been using the old school style guitar stands for nearly 30 years, and while they work just fine, there have been times where a guitar has almost fallen off the stand when not placed quite properly. They also tend to be either somewhat flimsy, or just passable in how sturdy they are. This Hercules stand though, while on the pricy side, is very well made. It feels sturdy and solid, and unless you knock the whole stand over, your guitar is going nowhere while in it. I'm glad I took a chance on this stand as I am very happy with it. I will certainly be buying more of these in the future.

but........
I obtained this auto-grip stand two weeks ago . It is one of the most sturdiest 3 point stands on the market. It is for that reason that I was using it for a Vintage Les Paul. At first I was absolutely sure it was up to the task supporting a valuaIble instrument. I do not leave my guitars out .I put them back in their cases. So , it isn't like It was constantly being used .The other day I was using the guitar and noticed a small chip under the head - stock. It was in a weird place and I could not figure out how it got there. Until I checked the other side of the head-stock . Another chip same place other side. The area on the stand is where the head stock contacts the gripping mechanism of the stand. Even though the area is covered in rubber, look closely you will notice the the area immediately behind the " Auto- Grip " locking mechanism is exposed hard plastic. Depending on the configuration of your guitar, when the head-stock of your guitar is placed in the stand the underside of the head-stock rest directly on this area.. If your mind is set to purchase this stand I would suggest padding up that area so it doesn't mar your guitars finish.I found out the hard way . Maybe I should have inspected it more before using. Other than that I would have no complaints . It is a sturdy stand.

Very chic and practical stand that I mainly purchased to protect nitro finished guitars, but now I'm buying another one or two because it's sturdy and also cool looking.

I bring this sturdy guitar stand with me everywhere I might play guitar. It goes with me on stage at solo acoustic gigs, it goes with me to campfire jam sessions, and it goes with me into my home studio. It holds my guitars securely without damaging the finish.
