    Some earplugs are too stiff and hurt my ears. Some are too mushy and don't stay put too well. These are just right. I hope they don't stop making them.

    I work in a loud-ish environment and I have sensitive ears on top of that. These do well to lower the volume on everything, dampen high frequencies, and still maintain clarity in sound so that you're 100% aware of your environment.

    I have been using Hearos for years at concerts. They're cheap, and they work very well. You can adjust how much high end is attenuated by pulling them part of the way out of your ear. The only thing I don't particularly like about the latest package I bought is that the color now has an orange tint, whereas the earlier ones were basic beige. But they still work the same. Highly recommended if you attend a lot of concerts. Protect your hearing!

    This unit is of insufficient quality for the purposes of noise attenuation. It is a smaller-fit than the blue units. It is logical to reason that cost-cutting is the issue here. The less total material at the end of the manufacturing process supports this conclusion. If you have small ear canals, these may be for you, otherwise the specification on the box is inaccurate because of sound leakage around the earplug. These facts are coordinated...
