Impressive Modeling Board
I would rate this product a 5.0. First, the only shortcoming - after a week or so of learning, and experimenting, and yes, reading the booklet too! If based upon the consumer's difficulty in contacting the manufacturer via telephone for live assistance, the rating would decrease. The instruction booklet is mostly good, but does not provide any guidance with "threshold" settings, which fortunately, I've come across a time or two, but unfortunately, can't seem to relocate that parameter again-that seems to be a mystery. Now for the good! Guitar Center personnel are always knowledgeable and eager to assist in the area of my personal IT deficiencies! This pedal board is an all-inclusive and well made product that is a carry-all for your gigs or just playing wherever your opportunity takes you. This board has a large and beautiful color screen with drag and drop capability to add / delete / rearranged stomp boxes in an infinite number of arrangements. The sound quality is at least comparable to my other pedal board adorned with numerous boutique, and more popular boxes, yet, far more capable. The sound modeling is over-the-top in quality, and variety.

Could NOT be more disappointed in Headrush...
I'm an Eleven Rack user that has always been frustrated with using a Midi pedal board for live gigs so I was tickled when I saw the Headrush board, that it basically uses the Eleven Rack sounds but in an actual "made for your feet" package. I bought one and was honestly not really blown away by the sounds - I mean, yes it did sound similar to the 11R, but for the price I just expected there to be a little more. I mean the 11R, as great as it is, is well over 10 years old. As I was using it the 2nd time, I heard something rattling around inside the Headrush - something was loose, a screw probably. Not wanting to mess with a potentially defective unit, I rushed it back to Guitar Center where they promptly exchanged it for another one. As I'm setting up the rigs in my 2nd new Headrush, I set up a patch for a song that we play live, I just want to record a note and let it ring out while I go back and play the verse. I record a loop, try to exit the looper and my guitar is making NO SOUND. Nothing. I can still hear the loop, but nothing from my guitar. I go back into the looper, peel off the loop - try again - nothing. I can record a loop, but I can't get any sound from my guitar directly through the pedal. I change patches - nothing. I turn the unit off and back on - nothing. I unplug it - nothing. Eventually, I do a factory reset and it comes back to life. BUT THEN - I try the looper again - I play a sound, record the loop - try to record an overdub - boom - guitar signal lost. Here's where the real frustration begins. I record a video snippet of what I'm experiencing. I go to the Headrush website and fill out their "contact us for technical support" form, a write a specific description on the problem, include the link to the video - submit - and wait. I'm still waiting. I returned the unit with NO response from Headrush. It's inexcusable that they won't stand behind their product.

This was bought to be used onstage in live applications. It stopped working within two weeks. Guitar center refused to do anything about it and referred us to the company. The company will not answer emails or respond to numerous phone calls. This board cost over 1000 dollars. Our group has spent tens of thousands of dollars on equipment from Guitar Center. We will take our business elsewhere from now on.
Headrush vs Helix LT

I love the way it sounds, yes, to my ear it sounds better than the Helix LT. Its easier than the Helix to setup patches but routing is still more advanced on the Helix - depends on your needs for mine I'll be fine. The cabs sound better on the Headrush, using latest firmware 2.3.1 they've added more amps, more effects... still not as many things (effects, amps, etc) as the Helix but honestly so many things on the Helix. Some of the effects sound better on the Headrush, ambient reverbs, tremolo to name a few. I've run the Helix LT and the Headrush through the Power Amp in on a Katana 50 MKII and through various FRFR (headrush frfr108, Alto TS312 and Harbinger V2312 powered speakers. I always struggled with the Helix sounding thing and harsh, not with the Headrush. My band gigs about 8 or 9 times a year. The Helix will be with me as a backup for now, but moving to gigging the Headrush.

I use the Headrush pedalboard at church. It's versatility is amazing for everything we do and play. You can dial in great sounds and tones with ease. I've had other boards that are and absolute pain to deal with. You can do everything you need to on the touch screen.
It's the best there is all around!!! I know from experience.

I tried the BOSS GT1000 and the Helix products. They all did fine, but sucked as effects units for real tube amps, and sounded less real to me in all applications. I was at my computer fiddling with EQ and stuff rather than playing. Then I swapped that for the Gigboard... Eleven rocked this unit in the best way. It just WORKS and it works well. They can all get to the same destination, but the Headrush Gigboard / Pedalboard will get you there in a third of the time, it'll be like using your touch screen phone/tablet, and much more visually pleasing! Do you want to be locked in a chair with your hand on the mouse when you wanted to play the guitar? I don't! Get the Gigboard. Headrush multifx sounds equally good if not better than the other brands, and the interface is fully self contained—it slays the competition
Quik tip for a carry case!

Best pedalboard on the market period, however the backpack headrush makes for this isn't practical. The pedalboard is on the heavy side, so I dont think you'd want to carry ia Plano 42 inch gun case available at most sporting good shops with the pluck out foam blocks, pull out the blocks to fit the board on the left side, get a wire letter tray for the right side and pluck out the foam to fit the tray. This makes a great area for the cables and manual, plus its waterproof , rugged and easy to carry. Plus it's less money than the backpack they make for it. Saw this tip online on youtube.
