collapse expand iconDescription

The HeadRush FRFR-108 MKII powered speaker cabinet brings pure, accurate tone and flexibility to amp modelers and pedalboards. With 2,000W of peak power, the FRFR-108 MKII delivers enough headroom for almost any live gig or rehearsal. Its precision-tuned 8" woofer and compression driver are voiced to provide a transparent, uncolored, full-range response critical for amp modeling. With the FRFR-108 MKII, you can fully realize the potential of your amp-in-a-box pedals.

Wirelessly Stream Music With Bluetooth

In addition to the XLR and 1/4" inputs with independent volume controls, the FRFR-108 MKII includes a dedicated Bluetooth channel. This lets you wirelessly stream music from any Bluetooth-enabled mobile device, adding backing tracks or custom interlude music seamlessly into your set. The Bluetooth connectivity makes the FRFR-108 MKII an extremely versatile tool both on stage and at rehearsal.

Quickly Adapt Your Sound

The FRFR-108 MKII equips you to tackle troublesome stage noise issues with its smart design. Engage the High Pass Filter switch to eliminate rumbling low end that competes with other instruments in the mix. The Ground Lift switch eliminates hum and buzz from ground loops. With these useful tools, you can adapt the FRFR-108 MKII to fit the acoustic needs of any venue.

Lightweight and Road-Ready

Weighing in at a portable 21 lb., the FRFR-108 MKII is built rugged yet remains easy to transport and set up. Its versatile design allows for use in a wedge position or upright using the pole mount socket. Perfect for outdoor gigs or anywhere without much backline, you can direct the sound anywhere needed. The FRFR-108 MKII is ready to be your amp modeler's powerful, adaptable companion.

Compared to the original these are not even close in volume. You get 100Hz low cut button which is cool, Bluetooth, better design with power cable and back panel too bad these don't keep up with the old ones though.

  • Spiff sound, not too big

This 1x8 supplements my FRFR-112. I run a modeler into the 112. These speakers are very directional, and that means that at a yard party or such, I need a monitor to monitor. Also, the smaller one makes for a great practice amp.

I like the FRFR 108 MKII Amp, because it supports a wide range of frequency. Unlike traditional amps which have restricted usage with an instrument. I have paired this with my Headrush Core effects processor which connects to my accoustic/electric guitar and microphone. It can also work with Bass guitar but I haven't tried it yet. I have also paired this with my phone through bluetooth and sometimes I use that for backing track. Overall I like this amp, and will highly recommend this against buying different amps for different purposes

Was a little skeptical at first; I'm used to using amps with 12" speakers but this thing is LOUD! Great sound too. Will probably order another one to use at rehearsal

An affordable FRFR cab with so much power. Construction is very durable. Gig-worthy and very useful in the studio and recording.

The main difference between a HeadRush MK II and MK I is that the MK II model features updated electrical design with improved components like the woofer and tweeter, leading to better clarity and accuracy in amp and cabinet emulations, along with added features like Bluetooth audio streaming, a redesigned control layout, and a more accessible HPF EQ switch instead of a contour switch, while retaining the core functionality of the MK I model; essentially, the MK II is considered an upgraded version with improved sound quality and added features.
