I bought this to hold a 2 in 1 laptop with my groups leadsheets for performances. It is low to the ground but holds the laptop and its cradle rather well. It is a bit loosey, but all in all it is fine. Especially for less than 10 bucks.

  • Cheapest, but very functional!

I wanted this for a tabletop mic placement, it was the cheapest of all that I could see, but it also has more height range, and it's plenty solid enough, can't imagine a reason to want to pay more frankly.

  • Inexpensive stand for tabletop use.

Got these largely for doing tabletop interviews for a podcast. They're inexpensive but solidly built, come in a convenient carry-bag and do what they're designed for. The legs are a trifle stiff to get started (may change as I fold them out more often) and the little rubber tips may have a tendency to come off and disappear, but with reasonable care are well worth the price. Included clip is designed for typical dynamic microphones with tapered shafts. If you have old style "stick" microphones, you may want to find a low cost "clamp" version with a spring closure. The stand accepts standard mic clips.

  • I would buy this again
