I purchased this (and another) book when GC sent me a surprise $40 gift certificate this past Christmas. This book is basically THE "bible" for sound reinforcement engineers (which I'm not, either in any professional capacity or on a regular basis) and is therefore invaluable for musicians like me that need to run their own PA without help from a *real* professional sound reinforcement engineer. I highly recommend it, and the only reason I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars is that while it covers the fundamentals and beyond quite comprehensively it is now a bit dated.
