    I am starting to learn scales and I bought this book. This book really helped me alot! All the scales and notes were very easy to understand for first timers. I recomend starters to use this book. Hal Leonard The Ultimate Guitar Scale Chart Book is a great way also to learn how to play guitar solos!

    Are the scales one with "circles" in the frets, or are they on tabs, like one would see in reading sheet music? The sacond one is whart I am looking foer, rtrhough I'll probably purchase it any way.
