Very good but not for beginners. I'm just taking small licks at a time and working on it that way. Sometimes you cannot see exactly where his fingers are. He doesn't talk about that part to much. And then he starts talking about boxed penatonic scales. Well then I really get lost. For me there will be a lot of pausing and rewinding. The very good thing about this DVD is he's playing the songs perfectly. Sabbath is my favorite band of all time. So I will have to take my time.

If you are a beginner and want to be able to play something harder that Mary had a little lab, or row, row, row your boat then this DVD is for you. I do however, highly recommend buying ۡ̏The Best of Black Sabbath instructional book with CD by Troy Stetina as well. This way with the DVD you can see and hear how the songs are played and by having the book you can revert to looking and reviewing that tab music and with the audio CD you get a great chance to play along with a band I feel that the early songs by Black Sabbath are for the most part easy and not to complicated for the beginner. This is not to say that the songs wonۡt give you a work-out, but for the beginner and for someone wanting to really learn to play a song or two this is your best bet.
