    Talk about truth in advertising - the Hal Leonard Incredible Scale Finder Book is just that. After a brief introduction the book launches into four pages of scale types with a brief paragraph explaining each. Next comes a (very) brief single page about improvising and soloing. The next 100 pages or so is literally nothing but scales shapes in every key for every scale, mode, etc. This book is not for guitarists looking for theory instruction, but if you already kinda know what you are doing this book will open some creative doors for you by getting you to try some scales you have NEVER heard of. Excellent reference material.
