I realize that this rating / review is not what you want to see. I base my review on the information on the cover of the DVD which I quote: "Learn the riffs and solos of Eric Clapton's ... songs are taught note-for-note." Let's take "White Room" for example. Doug Boduch is likeable enough, and the video portion is well filmed with good sound quality. The problem is that he only does the intro and the verse so the solo isn't included (but, there is a nice plug about how you can buy more Hal Leonard products on the web site.) When he starts the intro he tells you the position, but leaves out the key. He says he's playing double stops, but, good luck and be ready to rewind ten times to find out which frets and strings he's playing on. The video is a nice production if you want to hear about some odd trivia bits and see Doug Boduch play Eric Clapton's work, but, it fails miserably at what it claims to be - a note-for-note instructional guide to the riffs and solos of some Eric Clapton's early work. There is a nice section to jam-along with the backing tracks (if you go out, buy Eric's CDs, and figure out the music yourself), but, let's face it there are only eight songs on the CD - so you really aren't getting what you paid for. Don't get suckered by this DVD it isn't worth buying.
