Hagstrom Pat Smear Signature Electric Guitar Gloss Black

The Pat Smear Signature is built on a mahogany body and set neck, capped with a maple top, which is the basis for its rich, complex and exciting tone. Each guitar is built by the exact same machines, people, materials and specifications that went into each of Pat's own personal guitars, which are the essential building blocks that guarantee guitarists that no corners have been cut to produce this unique instrument. What you get is what Pat demanded.
Guitarists are promised the exact same instrument that has graced many of the biggest stages around the world. Pat demanded a "Workhorse" that would never let him down, where this guitar will prove to "Hold its own", even through intensive touring, just as Pat can verify through his performances throughout the world. The special design is a custom hybrid of a classic 1970's Hagstrom model "H-IIN-OT" and the modern day "F-200." Pat chose the Hagstrom "Custom 58" pickups to specifically voice this versatile instrument in order to produce a steady and solid tone. Case sold separately.

Killer Instrument

I love this guitar! Its like if you take a Les Paul, and make it metal! Only thing I don't like is the pickup selection location and the weight however you get used to it quick. Personally I think it's a little to highly priced but I still don't regret my choice.
More then just a signature guitar!

This guitar is a beast and a beauty! All the details and craftsmanship stand out, true comfort and feel the neck plays like butter! When you plug in it's a rip roaring rock machine. This is my first Hagstrom and likely not to be my last!
Nice guitar!

I had one (in fact it´s selling right here with GC) and honestly loved it. Plays nice, sounds amazing and feels right (better for Rock and heavier stuff). Wanted to move up so needed to let it go. Would buy one again it I had to. Great guitar!
The stupidest place on earth to put a pickup switch!

Without a doubt! The stupidest place on earth to put a pickup switch! That's why after 70 years nobody (except for maybe somebody that had one custom made...and realized it was in the way for any aggressive rhythm strumming or wild shredding up by the neck for a round sound) has ever made one like this before. Good thing for the return policy. Unless you go play one in person and realize it after about one minute...and pass. Cmon! What were you guys thinking?

Is there a belly cut out on the back ?
It's curved, similar to the front. It's not a strat like belly cut.
