Guild Surfliner Deluxe Solidbody Electric Guitar With Guild Floating Vibrato Tailpiece Evergreen Metallic

Description
The Surfliner Deluxe elevates the Surfliner platform with appointments, such as Guild’s first-ever roasted maple neck, giving it a dark, aged appearance with added stiffness and stability. A bound rosewood fingerboard with block inlays complements the satin-finished C-shaped 25.5" scale neck, providing a smooth playing experience.
The Guild Surfliner Deluxe is also outfitted with a bridge HB-2 humbucker with Alnico II magnets—developed to recreate the rich, warm tone of vintage Guild humbuckers in a standard size format. The HB-2 is paired perfectly with the chiming single-coil tones of the two DeArmond Aerosonic middle and neck pickups. The Surfliner Deluxe also features a classic 5-way blade switch, offering quick access from rhythm to solo tones at the flick of a switch.
Developed for the Surfliner Deluxe, the Guild Floating Vibrato Tailpiece opens the Surfliner platform to new playing styles, capable of a broad range of vibrato effects, from subtle flutters to deep swells. The tailpiece is equipped with a nylon insert and easily accessible tension screw for ultimate control of bar tension. It also features an embossed “G” for classic Guild DNA.

Solid, well-built, beautiful guitar with fantastic tones.
I had been in the market for an offset for a while and was watching a video review of another offset when I had stumbled upon a comparison video between that guitar and the Surfliner Deluxe. By the end of the video I had flipped and was now in the market for a Surfliner Deluxe. Pleasant to my surprise, I found that the Surfliner Deluxe was at an extremely affordable price point compared to other offsets I was originally looking at. The cleans on this guitar are quite incredible and the humbucker is quite transparent and does not get overly aggresisive. This is definitely a plus when using effects and gain stacking. Contrary to other reviews, I have not encountered any issues with the tremolo post rubbing against the high E and B strings. It seems as if Guild has sorted this issue out. Comfortable, roasted maple neck is very smooth. This guitar is built extremely well and can hang with other guitars twice its price point.

Good but tremolo sux
I love the feel of the neck but the tremolo rubs against the high string, and I bought this brand new. This problem is widely talked about, so I reached out to Guild directly and they sent me some weird diagram and basically told me to fix it myself. I think that's pretty bad customer service when they obviously know there's a problem.

#Sweepstakes 147 The Surfliner Deluxe sounds great, looks awesome (I got mine in green). The neck is more flat and wide, almost like an SG or PRS neck.
Absolutely love this guitar!

I recently bought a Surfliner Deluxe and could not be happier. The pickups give it a nice bright sound and it feels great in my hands. I love how it plays and it looks great too!
Great guitar for the price.

Amazing guitar, has an incredible feel and looks beautiful, not to mention the sound is impeccable. it's like a better feeling version of a stratocaster in my opinion. The 5-way gives a great range of sound and it came in perfect condition. Super excited to play it it was a great find in store!
