Enjoying the look, feel and sound on this Guild guitar. It feels light but powerful. The bass and treble sounds resonate very distinctly. Although action a little high for me, playing it feels pretty smooth. The pickup doesn't appear sophisticated, but it serves quite well.

I've been wanting a guild forever and got one as a birthday present. This thing sounds absolutely amazing and sounds way better than any of the guitars I have.

I have a lot of high end acoustic guitars. I picked this up off the wall on Guitar Center, not really expecting to be overly impressed, especially given the price point. After a few minutes of playing the guitar, I was amazed! It is bright, well balanced and has just enough punch! It sounds better that some of the big name guitars that are twice the price. I've never heard of striped ebony as a tone wood, but it adds a character that is unmistakable! I had to buy this guitar. It wouldn't let me leave the store without it!

  • Well, I hope I do not have to buy this product again.

I ordered this guitar over the internet, it was listed a s a new item, but when I received it at my local GC store the electronics were rattling inside the guitar, and the neck had two cracks, one on each side of the neck, right under the nut. I was told it was a new guitar, but probably a display model. Took it back, order another one. The "new" guutar was also a display model, but it looks brand new, and everything works well. I am barely learning how to play it, so this probably will not be a good review, but this guitar is easy to play, and I really like the way it sounds.

  • Outstanding Guitar.

Like many other reviewers have stated, this guitar looks, plays, and sounds like like a much more expensive instrument. The action was low and easy to play with no needed adjustments. The tone is big, bright and deep - exactly what I would expect from a Guild. If this guitar is in your price range then just buy it. Nothing else at this level even comes close to the quality of this one.

Have been looking for a nice sounding electro acoustic guitar at a good price. Saw this hanging on the wall and plugged in. The sound was simply superb. Great playability, totally in tune, excellent fretwork and just such a very nice sound. I played in church the next day and again proved its worth sounding vibrant and detailed with a balanced and organic sound. As good as basically any guitar in the store. My only issue is that it does not come with a case.
