    Despite several attempts to adjust, it either mutes the E & A strings too much if it's good on the D & G strings or not enough on the D & G strings if it's good on the E & A strings...guess I better keep practicing my palm muting skills!

    This Fump does what it says. My problem with this product was that it dampened the strings too much. Even after adjusting the screw, the mute was too much. There was also a harmonic resonance that rings out when the fump is put on. I can definitely see this being a good product for jazz players, but not for me.
