  • Good Tuners

I put those on a recent new Fender Modern Player Telecaster that came with the old box type tuners. They didn't stay in tune very well either. I bought the Grover's and solved that problem. Only part I didn't like was drilling out the holes for the new Grover's. Plus be sure you drill the small holes for the screws deep enough or the new screws will break, they are very brittle. I know I broke one. Be careful or give it to the local Luther you trust.

I installed these on a used Hamer "Slammer" that had badly abused imitation Grovers from the factory. The Real Grovers installed effortlessly with a perfect fit. I highly recommend the Grover Tuning Keys as a replacement for cheaper stock keys.
