Good case for G5422TG

I bought this case for my new G5422TG, it's a perfect fit. This is a sharp looking case, both inside and out, and was made in Canada. I like the Gretsch metal logo plate riveted to the top outside edge of the case. I can't find anything wrong with my case, the latches all line up perfectly, and appear to be high quality. The inside padding and liner are securely installed, with no over gluing. The internal compartment is necessarily small, due to this type of case profile, however it easily carries small items such as picks, tuner, string tool and extra strings. I'm very satisfied with this product and have no regrets about purchasing it.

G6241 Case good fit for Silvertone 1454 with Bigsby.

I purchased the G6241 case for my 1963 Sivertone 1454 hollowbody with Bigsby in hopes it was a good fit and to provide protection for my guitar. After spending hours of research, one on one Chat with technicians at online retailers, as well as Vintage Silvertone owners, with little or no reference of a suitable case, I took a chance on the G6241. The guitar fits perfectly in the case with no movement or excess pressure points. I only gave a 3 review due to the quality issues. The case looks good but the quality is not what you would expect at the price or what you would expect from Gretch. The hinges are thin and cheap. The Tolex covering is thin, the seams are not well matched, and there is excess glue in areas of the interior padding. The handle does not feel secure so I will only use the case for storage. I am only keeping the case due to the excellent fit.

    Ordered for Gretsch 5427 with Bigsby. Perfect snug fit; constructed well. Felt slightly overpriced but willing to pay for perfect fit. Hoping one day they'll figure out a good case design to accomodate Bigsby bar; it works but loosens/tightens strings depending how you stow bar.

    Ordered this for the New Gretsch that I just bought. Was going to buy a cheaper case, but the guitar was all over the place inside of it, not secure at all. Guitar is a perfect fit, even has a spot inside to hold picks and a capo. Buy it!
