Power is Loud – Gretsch G6228 Players Edition Jet BT | Gretsch Guitars

Chambered Mahogany Bodies — Thick and Acoustically Rich.
Each Jet BT begins with a select 1.85" mahogany body with tiger flame maple top that produces a strong, balanced mid-range while the chambered body delivers a smooth attack and extended bandwidth that is remarkably wide and harmonically rich.
Broad'Tron BT65 Pickups – Power and Fidelity
This powerful platform is fueled by all-new Gretsch Broad'Tron BT65 pickups. Designed by the famed Tim Shaw, the BT65 meticulously captures the guitar's sonic palette and reproduces powerful mids, extended lows and an exceptionally clear, yet smooth high-end. The result is the perfect mixture of wall-shaking power and full-spectrum fidelity that delivers unparalleled overdrive and shimmering cleans — all at the stomp of a switch.

This axe is one of the best electric guitar I have ever played and heard like the other reviewer said you can hear every note clean or gain this axe packs a heck of a punch Leads sound very articulate and playing rhythm sounds great I have a Les Paul standard and a strat and I am now only using this Gretsch I can play anything from Led Zeppelin to the beatles,Velvet underground,Funk. Pickups are amazing knobs are very smooth when being turned no noise which sometimes you get with certain guitars action is great did not have to make any adjustments and this guitar is very light weight I got the Bourbon Stain flame top try and see one in person at your GC. nearest you it will amaze you I want to thank my salesman Peter Agnoli at Totowa GC. for making the transaction smooth.

The new players edition Gretsch G6228 is a magnificent guitar. The new broadtron pickups are very similar to their famous filtertrons with a dash of PAF sound added. But make no mistake, it sounds like a Gretsch! This guitar produces Gretsch's famous shimmering clean sounds, but I'm amazed at how good it sounds through a high gain amp as well. You'll easily hear every single note in the chord. This guitar is good for playing Elvis and AC/DC. Definitely try one out. And don't mess around with the electromatic line...buy the good stuff.
