Gretsch's G6136T-59GE Golden Era Edition 1959 White Falcon Hollow Body Electric Guitar is a masterclass in retro style and sonic finesse. This rare bird comes alive in the hands of any player, delivering its distinctive warm and articulate voice at every strum.

Period-Correct Specs Channel the Golden Age

From its gold sparkle binding to vintage-style trestle bracing, the White Falcon is designed to evoke the iconic Gretsch guitars of the 1950s. Gold hardware, including Gretsch "G Arrow" knobs, glistens against the guitar's vintage white nitrocellulose lacquer finish. A gold vintage thick plexiglass pickguard displays the Gretsch logo with pride. Authenticity resonates from every detail of this stunning instrument.

TV Jones Pickups Provide Power With Nuance

A pair of TV Jones Classic humbucking pickups generates a powerful tone with unparalleled dynamics. The bridge pickup delivers a focused, articulate voice, while the neck pickup produces a warm, rounded tone. With volume controls for each pickup, players can blend the pickups to craft their perfect balance of power and nuance. A 3-way toggle switch provides even more tonal variety.

Bigsby Tailpiece Enables Expressive Pitch Manipulation

Add some shimmer and expression to your playing with the Bigsby B6GVT vibrato tailpiece. Based on Paul Bigsby's original ingenious design, the Bigsby tailpiece requires minimal effort to bend notes up and down. Subtle pitch manipulation or wilder effects are equally achievable with this responsive vibrato system.

Resonant Construction and Playable Neck

An arched 3-ply maple top, multi-ply maple back and sides and 1959-style trestle bracing make the White Falcon a veritable cannon, projecting notes with power and richness. Its maple neck and 12" radius ebony fingerboard are designed for comfort and playability. 22 medium jumbo frets and classic Gretsch thumbnail inlays facilitate complex chords, string bending and intricate single-note runs.
