Gretsch Guitars

Description

There's bold—and then there's Champagne Sparkle bold. The Gretsch Guitars G6134TG LTD Champagne Sparkle Penguin electric guitar stands out for its dazzling finish and top-tier construction. Built with a chambered mahogany body and arched maple top, this limited-edition model is as resonant as it is eye-catching. The ebony fingerboard offers a smooth surface for fast playing, while the TV Jones TV Classic and TV Classic Plus Filter'Tron pickups deliver a punchy, defined sound. With a String-Thru Bigsby tailpiece for expressive vibrato and quick string changes, this Penguin blends showstopping style with professional-grade performance. A deluxe hardshell case is included for safe, stylish transport.

TV Jones Pickups With Iconic Gretsch Penguin Tone

These pickups don't just cut through the mix—they leap out of it. The TV Jones TV Classic and TV Classic Plus Filter'Tron pickups give this guitar its tight lows, crisp highs and unmistakable Gretsch attitude. They respond dynamically to touch, handling everything from clean, articulate runs to gritty leads with no loss of clarity. Whether you're playing jazz, rockabilly or indie grit, this pickup combo gives you definition, depth and punch without compromise.

Bigsby Vibrato System on the Champagne Sparkle Penguin

Pitch bends and shimmering chords feel effortless here. The Bigsby B3GP String-Thru tailpiece makes vibrato expressive while allowing for quick string changes, thanks to its direct-through design. Paired with an Adjusto-Matic bridge and pinned ebony base, this setup stays rock solid in tuning—even with frequent use. Its smooth action also reduces hand fatigue, making it ideal for players who need comfort during long rehearsals or shows.

Gretsch Hardware Layout With Locking Tuners and G-Arrow Knobs

Details that dazzle and perform. Jeweled G-Arrow knobs provide intuitive control over each pickup's volume, tone and master output. A three-way selector switch sits within easy reach, and Luminlay side dots guide fret placement under stage lights. Grover Imperial locking tuners ensure tuning stability during hard bends and heavy travel. This thoughtful layout gives players real-time control without breaking focus mid-performance.

Chambered Mahogany Body on the Gretsch Champagne Sparkle Penguin

This guitar is built to last—and built to resonate. A chambered mahogany body keeps the weight down and adds warmth, while the arched maple top adds strength and clarity. The ebony fingerboard and bone nut resist wear and moisture over time. Gold hardware, a gloss finish and the deluxe hardshell case ensure it stays protected from sweat, dings and travel wear—whether on stage or in storage.

Why the Gretsch Champagne Sparkle Penguin Stands Out

This limited-edition model hits all the right notes—for both the stage and the studio. The Gretsch G6134TG LTD Champagne Sparkle Penguin electric guitar combines iconic looks with a powerful, responsive voice. Every element—from the TV Jones pickups to the Bigsby tailpiece—supports creative expression, long-term reliability and a performance-ready feel. It's the kind of guitar that doesn't just sound great—it makes you want to play more.
