Looks: Breathtakingly beautiful! And honestly nothing like the pictures on line. I have the purple version and it's amazing under the lights. I constantly get compliments. Playability: Fantastic classic Gretsch sound. The center block prevents feedback like you can get with a full hollow body and gives it a little more teeth as well. It's also thinner so a bit easier to play. Good sized neck and fingerboard. The Bigsby is a must-have for me and holds the strings in tune even with pretty deep bends. Highly recommend!

Bought TWO of these. BOTH had a major issue with keeping tuned. I had a luthier determine that these is an issue with the Bigsby missing a wire across the strings that would allow the strings back in place after using the Bigsby. Both were returned. Have to wonder if A****** bought a big lot of known flawed guitars. Beautiful guitars but NEITHER was for more than a minute with the tuning issue. functional
