Gretsch Guitars
Description
The Grestch G5227T Electromatic Double Jet BT with Bigsby has classic style and sound at an unbeatable price. The chambered mahogany body has an arched maple top, producing full lows and mids with a well-defined yet smooth high end. All told, it's a strong and balanced acoustic foundation.

Powering the Double Jet BT is a pair of Black Top Broad’Trons. Rock them clean and pristine, or crank up the gain for more growl. Individual volume and tone controls give plenty of sonic room to wrangle. A treble bleed circuit keeps the highs up even as you dial down the volume.

Your hands will easily conform to the thin U-shape profile of the mahogany neck. The laurel fretboard has pearloid neo-classic thumbnail inlays, a unique touch that pairs nicely with the aged white body binding.

Proving that no Gretsch is truly complete without a Bigbsy, the Double JT BT sports a B50 in die-cast aluminum. Use it for subtle surf-style vibrato, or rip it wild for rockabilly rave-ups. Either way, you're going to enjoy the ride.

I used to play in bands but now I just play for my own enjoyment and occasionally with another musician. Love this guitar. The setup was almost perfect out of the box. Great tone. Easy playability. It's also a very attractive instrument. Workmanship is excellent and the price is great for an instrument of this quality. I would recommend it to anyone who plays guitar. My

I have a Streamliner and was thinking about another Gretsch when I saw this and couldn't pass it up with its beautiful ocean turquoise color, Bigsby, and double cut body; it's even better in person!

THIS IS MY 2ND. GRETSCH GUITAR AND, IT'S NOT AS GOOD AS MY 1ST. ONE DUE TO THE VOLUME RHEOSTAT SWITCH SHOULD BE REPLACED BY A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN BUT, AFTER I CHANGED THE STRINGS OUT TO A SET OF "ELIXIR" 10-42 STRINGS IMMEDIATELY IT SOUNDS SO MUCH BETTER THAN WHEN I FIRST GOT IT! I'M GOING TO GET THE VOLUME SWITCH FIXED AND, I'M SURE THAT IT WILL BE JUST FINE! I GAVE THIS GUITAR A 5 STAR REVIEW BECAUSE IT IS A GREAT GUITAR JUST LIKE MY OTHER GRETSCH 5230T GUITAR BUT, NOT AS REFINED! IT'S STILL A GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY I PAID FOR IT! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO MY FRIENDS AND, ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING FOR A GREAT GUITAR? DO YOURSELF A BIG FAVOR AND GET YOUR OWN GRETSCH GUITAR! I'M VERY HAPPY WITH MINE EVER SINCE I CHANGED OUT THE STRINGS SET-UP AND, NOW IT SOUNDS INCREDIBLE TO ME AND, MY FRIENDS REALLY LIKE IT! WITH JUST A LITTLE BIT OF FINE TUNING AND, NOW IT SOUNDS GREAT TO BOTH ME AND, MY GOOD FRIENDS! MY GOOD FRIEND IS GOING TO GET HIS OWN GRETSCH GUITAR SO HE DOESN'T HAVE TO PLAY WITH MY GRETSCH GUITAR! I TRIED TO UPLOAD AN IMAGE OF THE GUITAR TO NO AVAIL!
