Brought to you by Gretsch Guitars, the G2657T Streamliner Center Block Jr. Double-Cut With Bigsby Electric Guitar— This exhilarating double-cutaway guitar delivers high-gain performance, effortless playability and show-stopping style. With updated features and That Great Gretsch Sound, the G2657T is designed to crank out hits on any stage.

Powerful Broad'Tron Pickups Provide Robust Tone

The secret behind the G2657T's tone lies in its Broad'Tron humbucking pickups and spruce center block. Tailored for the Streamliner collection, the Broad'Tron pickups produce tight bass, crisp highs and a throaty midrange. A spruce center block reinforces the body while reducing unwanted feedback, enabling volume-friendly performance in any venue.

Traditional Controls Shape Iconic Gretsch Sound

The G2657T's sonic power is harnessed by traditional controls—independent neck and bridge pickup volume knobs, master tone control, master volume knob and three-way pickup switch. Add shimmer and expression with the Bigsby-licensed B50 vibrato tailpiece. An Adjusto-Matic bridge and synthetic bone nut provide superb tuning stability and intonation.

Fast-Playing Neck and Elegant Appointments

A 12"-radius laurel fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets and pearloid hump block inlays sits atop a thin U-shaped maple neck—ideal for chords or solos. Classic Gretsch style abounds with enlarged F-holes, vintage-style knobs, white binding, tortoise pickguard and nickel hardware.

Smaller Body, Big Sound

Though more compact, the G2657T produces a bold tone. Its arched laminated maple body resonates while remaining lightweight and balanced. Two sharp-looking cutaways provide easy upper-fret access.

  • Gretsch has pulled out all the stops for their stunning G2657T Streamliner Center Block Jr. Double-Cut with Bigsby electric guitar. Its design catered to three specifications: ample gain, comfortable playability, and a one-of-a-kind style. This slick music-maker offers all the newest features to maximize that amazing Gretsch sound we all know and love. Since the inception of rock n’ roll, Gretsch guitars have resonated on the radio waves, and each of their beautifully manufactured guitars has even more bells and whistles.

    Unique Features

The G2657T Streamliner is dressed in Broad’Tron humbucking pickups and feature an all-spruce center block, two components that were originally designated for the entire collection. The Broad’Tron pickups greatly improved its articulation potential, allowing a snappier bass response, crystal-clear highs, and edgy middle tones. The low-weight spruce center block reaches the entire length of the guitar body, adding strength to the build but minimizing unwanted ringing and squeaks.

    Classic Layout

Gretsch chose a traditional layout for the neck and bridge pickup, master tone and volume controls, and three pickup switch options. Easily add some high-end pizzazz to your sound with its Bigsby-licensed B50 vibrato tailpiece. The intonation is stabilized with the hearty Adjusto-Matic bridge and coupled with a synthetic, slotted bone nut; this guitar is properly suited for producing enchantingly pleasing harmonics.

A Vintage Vibe for the Modern Player

The Indian laurel fingerboard has a 12” radius harnessing chic pearloid Hump Block inlays, and 22 large frets line the U-shaped neck profile making soaring solos and barre chords easier to achieve. Gretsch’s distinctive control knobs, three-ply tortoise pickguard and rounded overlay maple construct give it a truly classic style. The large F-holes increase the output of sonic blasts, and cool, white binding and sleek nickel hardware portray a vintage vibe. The chic G2657T Streamliner offers ultimate playability due to its small frame. The modern musician will love to get this vintage showstopper in their clutches.
