Gretsch Guitars G2655T-P90 Streamliner Center Block Jr. Double-Cut P90 With Bigsby Two-Tone Mint Metallic and Vintage Mahogany Stain

Description
This double-cutaway semi-hollow mahogany ax delivers a blend of brash tone and spectacular style for today's guitarist. Powered by two roaring Gretsch FideliSonic 90 pickups, the G2655T-P90 cranks out full, articulate tones perfect for high-gain styles. A chambered spruce center block provides exceptional resonance while resisting feedback at high volumes.
FideliSonic 90 Pickups Provide Cutting Tone
The G2655T-P90 owes its muscular tone to two Gretsch FideliSonic 90 pickups. These single-coil P90-style pickups produce a warm, full tone with enhanced treble cut and definition. The neck pickup delivers a round, fat tone perfect for blues and jazz. The bridge pickup produces an aggressive, biting tone ideal for rock and alt-rock. With both pickups selected, you get a blend of tight bass, pronounced mids and shimmering highs—a versatile tone for playing any genre.
Lightweight Comfort and Projection
While the G2655T-P90 delivers a big, brash tone, it remains lightweight and comfortable to play thanks to its 14" double-cutaway mahogany body with a spruce center block. The chambered design reduces weight while the spruce center block prevents unwanted feedback at high volumes. Two enlarged F-holes further enhance projection for an acoustic-like tone.
Vintage-Inspired Style with Modern Playability
The G2655T-P90 blends vintage Gretsch style with fast, modern playability. It features a 12" radius laurel fingerboard, medium jumbo frets, stylized pickup bezels and a Bigsby B50 vibrato tailpiece for a classic look. However, its thinner U-profile neck, synthetic nut and die-cast tuners provide a familiar feel for contemporary players. The G2655T-P90 is available in a flashy Two-Tone Midnight Sapphire and Vintage Mahogany Stain finish with nickel hardware for standout style on any stage.
Complete Tonal Control
Shape your tone with master volume and tone controls, individual pickup volume controls and a three-way toggle switch. Roll back the neck or bridge pickup volume for a more balanced tone or to reduce feedback. Adjust the master tone to cut highs for a warmer, jazzier tone or boost treble for extra cut and chime. The three-way toggle provides standard pickup selections for fat neck tone, biting bridge tone or a blend of both.

This is a great guitar. The pickups are replica staple P90s, not regular P90s. I happen to have access to a '54 Gibson Super 400 with staple P90s. I can confirm these sound the same if a little bit more articulate and brighter. It's also more comfy to play and the bigsby keeps tune
NICE Guitar! The P90 and semi hollow body are a great sound

As a guitarist for 50 years, I worked full-time in the entertainment industry for five years sometimes 80 hour weeks. At that time I had a Gretsch guitar and it never failed working for me on stage great tone, action, and comfortable to play. I love Guitar Center find it hard to stay away. I just love the people that work there and talking to other musicians. I just recently purchased the 2655T. P90 after playing it for only about 15 minutes. I walked out the store with it, brought it home and then played it for three hours straight. I love the Bigsby bar and tail piece. The P 90s can scream push my tube amp into distortion with no trouble. I can also tell you, the construction is phenomenal, I pay attention to detail and this guitar passes my quality control test. It listed for $650 and I don't mind spending that money. Take a trip to Guitar Center and try one of these guitars whether you play blues, rock 'n' roll, jazz or pop. You will love this guitar. Hey, thanks for reading my review I'm sincere about this. I have had so many guitars in the last 50 years I can't even remember the count. The Gretsch line of guitars are really worth taking a look at.
Color slightly off, frets very sharp - but nice tone.

Wanted to learn guitar, but needed smaller size body. Fret ends are very sharp, may have to hammer one in deeper. One of the locking tuners were loose. But resonates nicely even without an amp, nice clean tone. Color is not as pictured, it's more a goldish-green shade.
