Amazing sound, fit and finish! Awesome value!
This is the third Gretsch I've owned - all imports - and each have exceeded expectations! If you are partial to low action, these are the best you will find right out of the box - no laborious set up or tweaking necessary. I say that, also owning several Fenders, Gibson/Epiphones, PRS's, Rickenbackers, etc. The fit and finish on this Ltd Edition is flawless, the gold hardware, stunning, and the P-90's have a very musical mid-range growl.

Cheap Materials
I was disappointed when I received this. It felt like a child's toy with a plastic pickup. I put it in the box and returned it in person, and Guitar Center staff couldn't have been more helpful! I found the perfect replace, ent guitar in person, which I am really enjoying, better made and on sale, so I saved enough money to get an amp too. Very happy with the experience. Sorry about the one star. Five stars for Guitar Center.

This was very well setup on arrival. I have had no issues with tuning stability and the overall quality is great. The best thing is the pickups, though. The neck pickup is super-smooth and sweetly voiced and the bridge has some nice P90 attitude. It's been great for clean, ambient tones as well as some high gain pounding and thrashing.
Shocked it came in bubble wrap, no factory packing or paperw

Beautiful guitar BUT wondering if I got a refurb or used unit. Wrapped in bubble wrap and no factory packing or paperwork.

The action is a little tight on upper frets. But this guitar rocks, pickups are bright. Sounds fantastic with gain, you will have to watch your feedback. But I've been pleasantly surprised. Intonation and set up was good on delivery. Super lightweight, and is loud acoustically, and it translates well to the amp.
I would by this product again.

Streamliners are great starters. Although unusual in a Gretsch the stock P90s are a rather warm and responsive; slightly hummy which is to be expected. Electronics are otherwise solid. Added Gretsch g arrow knobs and strap buttons but the Gretsch metal switch tips are too big...Incredible value and easily upgraded to electromatic specs.
