Gretsch Guitars

collapse expand iconDescription

The Gretsch G2604T limited-edition Streamliner Rally II center block double-cut electric guitar with Bigsby is a modern take on a Gretsch classic. A chambered mahogany center block runs the length of the body, reinforcing the top while eliminating undesired feedback for volume-friendly performance on rocking stages. A fast-playing 12"-radius laurel fingerboard with elegant pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays and 22 medium-jumbo frets sits atop the white-bound nato neck with a thin U-shaped profile—ideal for chord work or fiery riffing. Add some shimmer and expression to your playing with the Bigsby-licensed B70 vibrato tailpiece.

The G2604T’s sound is driven by a pair of Super Hilo’Tron humbucking pickups that deliver enhanced clarity and chime. Its sonic power is harnessed and shaped by the traditional control set—neck and bridge pickup volume controls, a master tone control, master volume control and three-way pickup switching. Classic retro style is here with Gretsch G-Arrow radio control knobs, elegant aged white binding with black purfling, and plexi pickguard and truss rod cover with vintage-style Rally striping. Combining vintage aesthetics with modern playability and performance features, the G2604T is a powerhouse instrument for any guitarist.

  • Not as yellow as the picture makes it seem

Bought the Bamboo yellow one in store, and it is wonderful! Plays, and looks awesome! Only con (if you could call it that) is that the yellow looks way brighter in pictures than it really is. It's really a darker, muted color. So if it's holding you back, I promise it's not mustard-y

I have spent some very enjoyable hours playing this over the past 2 weeks. It is a terrific guitar! The Bigsby is one of the best I've ever played. The fretboard and neck are very comfortable and the craftsmanship is great. The body is very similar to a 335 or Casino style. The binding on the body and neck is really well executed. The pickups sound great. The tuners are good enough so no complaints about them. The only thing I would change is I would change the white knobs for the silver Gretsch arrow knobs. The setup was fine right out of the box. The finish is flawless - really impressive. I like how it has a slightly different color on back and sides. It is a little bit more reddish than the oxblood on the top. It has a nice spectrum of tones too. From nice rockabilly and chime, but it also works well with all kinds of pedals. This guitar can also do some high gain distortion stuff so it really covers quite a range. It's nice that the Bigsby can rotate out of the way without flopping around. All in all, it's stunningly good. We are living in some historically great times when there's guitars this good for this price.

  • I would buy this guitar again

I brought this at the Atlantic Blvd store in Jacksonville Florida. Camille the store manager was great, she was extremely helpful and went above and beyond. She even found me an old case that fit the guitar in the back of the store.

  • I am a huge Gretsch guitar fan and this one is excellent.
