Gretsch Guitars
Description
The G2210 Streamliner Junior Jet Club electric guitar from Gretsch features a stripped-down body that’s built to take a beating. With aggressive attack and quick response, the sleek Junior Jet Club is designed for the down and dirty guitarist who demands no-nonsense tone at an affordable price.

Powered by Broad’Tron humbucking pickups, this Streamliner guitar delivers robust lows, and a throaty midrange that is harnessed and shaped by a master tone control, master volume control and three-way pickup switching. A fast-playing 12”-radius laurel fingerboard with elegant pearloid Neo-Classic inlays and 22 medium-jumbo frets sits atop the bolt-on nato neck with a thin “U”-shaped profile—ideal for chord work or fiery riffing.

The G2210 also features an anchored compensated wrap-around bridge, synthetic bone nut, bound neck, vintage-style control knobs, tortoise pickguard and nickel hardware.

This guitar's a bargain, considering the quality construction, design, controls and electronics. I've never owned a Gretsch, though I've wanted to for decades. Glad I waited for this very affordable beauty. Pickups are well-designed, very little to no hum, too. Great! Highly recommended!

Amazing guitar. This guitar is solid. Feels great. Amazing range of tones. Build quality is top notch. No sharp frets. No buzzing. Medium action but can be lowered if you want. Neck feels great. Intonation good right out of the box. Practice with it every day. Truly a joy to play. Worth way more than the price.

  • Incredible guitar.. especially for the cost.

I was shocked when I opened this. Tuned it up, and it played great, immediately. Sounds great, looks cool. No reason not to buy one of these, to be honest. Looks like a way more expensive guitar, and at least my specific one feels like it, too. I would buy again, and may get another one at some point. One of the best values on the market. Get one!!!

The Gretsch G2210 Streamliner Junior Jet Club is a mouthful to say, but it's worth it. The guitar looks great and sounds just as good. It came in set up well. No sharp frets or dead spots. Intonation was spot on. The tuners hold tune pretty well. Pickups sound pretty good for bluesy/rock sounds. I had one little ding by the neck on mine other than that its perfect. I definitely recommend it as a first guitar or even as back up on stage.

I'll be upgrading the pickups to a Dylan pickups humbucker sized P90 neck and A Dylan pickups humbucker sized filtertron in the bridge. Check out Dylan talks tone YouTube videos for the 40;000 subscriber Gretsch giveaway to see the upgrades.

Are these for children? The description leads me to believe it's not, but the Junior in the name makes me ask.

Why is the fretboard darker on the vintage white, is it just the picture?

    Open Reply - Beau
Yes, it is just the stock photo that makes it look this way.
