    The guitar itself has lots of inlay and bling, but the average wood quality and thick poly finish hold this somewhat-budget priced model back a bit. To me, the star of the show is the Paul Beard resonator cone. It makes this instrument sound like much higher-end offerings. I liked it so much that I bought a second PBS-D for alternate tunings.

    This guitar is great. I purchased the square neck as I am learning dobro style at the moment. This was the only resonaphonic guitar I could find through guitar center that actually had a bone nut, as well as good american cones, for the price. The guitar gets a really big sound, especially when you throw some 16-50s on there. Perfect starter dobro for the serious explorer.

    Blemished Gold Tone Beard Signature Series Deluxe Resonator Guitar Square Neck 194744322846 . . . the description indicates a "square neck", but the pictures look like a "round neck" . . . which one is it for this blemished model? Also, is there a description or photo showing the blemish? Is it "B stock", or is it a show room blemish? Thanks.
