Godin is a very good guitar manufacturing company. All levels of their guitars present a very good value for the price point. One thing about Godin...put your guitars in a case! A padded bag is nice, but if I'm spending over $1000 to $2000 on a guitar, I expect a hard shell case to come with it! My recommendation to Godin, can the padded bags on your higher end guitars. I'm not impressed at all with your gig bags For this case, it's very well made, high quality, inside and out, and I can't recommend it enough, even if your a "stay at home" guitar player. You'll be glad you went for this investment and bid the gig bag a farewell, as the comparison is like night and day.

Although the included Godin gig bag is well made I never felt completely comfortable dragging my xtSA to gig in it. So when I had a coupon that was about to expire I bought the hardshell case. It's a prefect fit and seems well-made. The handle is perfectly balanced. Despite some reviews I did not notice the reported smell from glue or fabric that some complained about. Happy with my purchase!
