I saw this on the Gibson site and was waiting for GC to have it. As soon as I saw it listed, I dropped the hammer... they didn't even have pictures up on GC.com! Glad I jumped on it so quickly. This is an SG like no other. The flame maple top on my Iced Tea finish is epic sweet and the top is carved and recessed unlike other SGs. So nice it defies superlatives. The only thing that matches the appearance and craftsmanship is the tone. I have played it thru a Marshall JMD102, a Bogner Alchemist, a Bugera V22, a Line-6 Spider IV and a Fender Super-Sonic. All sound unbelievable, especially the tube amps. The SG Diablo Premium is the best SG out there, maybe with the exception of the '61. I should know... I have 7 different Gibson SGs. I don't know what I could say that could be any more convincing. It is simply outstanding. Break out your wallet and buy this beast.
