The Gibson Nathaniel Rateliff LG-2 Western acoustic-electric guitar is the signature instrument of the American singer-songwriter. Rateliff's music, both solo and with the Night Sweats, incorporates a uniquely appealing blend of folk, soul, Americana and R&B. This Gibson LG-2 Western is a blend of Rateliff's own vintage Gibson LG-2 and Country Western, with a smaller-sized mahogany body and red spruce top deliver vintage-approved tone. A mahogany neck features split parallelogram inlays, and the headstock is crowned with a mother-of-pearl Gibson block logo and Crown inlay, a nod to the Country Western. Volume and tone controls of the onboard L.R. Baggs VTC electronics are mounted at the bottom of the soundhole, per hiss preferences; the L.R.
