Gibson Bar Stool

The stool was a gift for my husband. He loves it and I will be buying the other stools soon.

Too Expensive!

I bought this exact stool recently and was disappointed with the quality. The screws that attach to the foot ring were stripped and there were imperfections and scratches on the chrome parts. Also, lack of padding and the vinyl cushion looks cheap and gets distorted after sitting for a short while. I'm surprised that Gibson would put their name on a product this cheap made in China. You would be better off buying the two for price of one stools w/o the fancy logo which inflates the cost.

What a pile of garbage, the foot ring is much larger than the legs (or the legs aren't bent properly). There is literally no way to assemble this without bending the legs myself. For the price Gibson asks this astonishes me. I own 2 Gibson's currently (many over the years) and loved them, I've heard bad things about Gibson recently and it seems they don't care what quality they put the name on as long as ppl buy. Don't know that I'll buy a new Gibson after this sad experience. I would recommend not buying ANYTHING new from Gibson (buy it used from when they cared about their reputation!) I love my older gibsons. Looks like PRS just sold me a new guitar- was on the fence between a new les Paul and PRS. I never in my life thought I'd say this, BUT... Up yours Gibson. Further inspection shows missed stitching on the seat, crooked seams, light scratching/wrinkles in the cheap vinyl. Pic included is one screw hand tight installed on one leg/ring to show how far off they were. Hardware in hand is for the foot ring. Packaging looked new and was a gift (sadly or I would return this pile of garbage) through musicians friend. As others have mentioned there is not much actual cushion, once I bend this Piece of junk into a workable shape I do not expect comfort out of a long session. Probably buy literally ANYTHING else.
