Available in a choice of four finishes, this guitar is the ultimate Les Paul Studio for players who demand exceptional performance and versatility.
Ultra-Modern Weight Relief and AA Figured Maple Cap for Comfort and Style
The Les Paul Studio Sessions features Gibson's Ultra-Modern weight relief, which reduces the guitar's weight without sacrificing tone or sustain. This makes the guitar incredibly comfortable to play, even for extended periods. The AA figured maple cap adds a touch of elegance to the guitar's appearance, with its unique grain patterns and rich, three-dimensional depth. The four finish options enhance the natural beauty of the wood, creating a visually stunning instrument.
SlimTaper Neck With Modern Contoured Heel for Effortless Playability
The Les Paul Studio Sessions boasts a mahogany neck with a SlimTaper profile, offering a comfortable and familiar feel for players of all styles. The SlimTaper profile is known for its smooth playability and fast action, making it ideal for both intricate chord work and blistering lead lines. The Modern Contoured Heel provides unparalleled access to the upper frets, allowing you to effortlessly reach those high notes without sacrificing comfort or playability.
Versatile Electronics for a Wide Range of Tonal Options
The Les Paul Studio Sessions is equipped with a pair of '57 Classic pickups, known for their vintage-inspired tone and dynamic response. The '57 Classic in the neck position delivers a warm, creamy tone with a touch of sweetness, perfect for smooth jazz lines and singing blues solos. The '57 Classic Plus in the bridge position offers a hotter output and enhanced midrange, delivering punchy rhythms and aggressive lead tones with that classic Les Paul growl. The versatile push/pull controls on the volume and tone knobs allow you to access coil-tapping, phase switching and pure bypass options, providing a wide range of tonal possibilities.
Bound Ebony Fingerboard and Premium Hardware for Exceptional Performance
The Les Paul Studio Session electric guitar features a bound ebony fingerboard with acrylic trapezoid inlays, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication. Ebony is renowned for its smooth feel and fast response, making it ideal for both intricate fingerpicking and rapid-fire lead work. The guitar is also equipped with Grover Rotomatic tuners with Keystone buttons for smooth and precise tuning, an aluminum Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge and an aluminum stopbar tailpiece for exceptional sustain and intonation. The black nickel plating on the hardware complements the guitar's sleek aesthetic.

Would I buy this guitar again and again? Yes!

I purchased the honey burst Studio Session online, sight unseen, from GC. Bit my nails until it arrived, wondering if I'd made a mistake. Well, she's here and she's just gorgeous; looks great, sounds just like… a Gibson Les Paul! Seriously, the decision drivers for me were the flamed maple, ebony, 57s, electronics, and the kicker was the weight. It's actually lighter than my MIM Strat at under 8 lbs! Purists may not appreciate that, but it's important as I grow older, and I plan to grow old together with this axe before passing it on down. Don't you just love the smell of a nitro finish?
Great guitar, beautiful too

Gibson knocked it out of the park. The guitar looks and sounds amazing. I have owned an ES335 since 2013 that I love, and this guitar plays just as well if not better.
This guitar really is the one!

I absolutely love this guitar, it weighs 3 pounds less than my 60s standard and it looks and sounds amazing. The upper fret access is really nice and the pickups are super versatile.

I got the Cobalt Blue. What a beautiful guitar. The finish and playability are outstanding. I received mine a few days before they were available in the stores. One month later it is still fantastic! Very happy with my purchase.
