Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s Quilt Limited-Edition Electric Guitar Dark Purple Burst

Description
The Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s Quilt limited-edition electric guitar brings back the classic design that defined rock 'n' roll while adding modern appointments for incredible tonal flexibility. With its SlimTaper '60s-style mahogany neck and stunning quilted maple top on a resonant mahogany body, this Les Paul provides exceptional comfort, vintage character and balanced resonance. It features Burstbucker 61R and 61T humbucking pickups, loaded with Alnico V magnets to emulate the legendary PAF sound. Topped off with Grover Rotomatic tuners and gold speed knobs, this Les Paul gives you rock-solid tuning stability and versatile tone shaping. The Les Paul Standard '60s Quilt lets you channel vintage PAF tone with modern playability.
SlimTaper '60s-Style Mahogany Neck for Comfort and Playability
The SlimTaper mahogany neck has a '60s-style profile that feels fast and comfortable in your hands. Its rounded shape allows for effortless chord changes and solos across the fingerboard. The smooth rosewood fingerboard further enhances playability, with medium-jumbo frets for bend-friendly action. Whether you're playing bluesy licks or shredding rock riffs, this Les Paul's '60s-inspired neck provides hours of fatigue-free playing.
Quilted Maple Top on Mahogany Body for Balanced Resonance
The stunning quilted maple top adds eye-catching looks, while the solid-mahogany body provides incredible sustain and resonance. Together, they produce full lows, rich mids and singing highs. From warm, throaty tones to bright, biting leads, the quilted maple and mahogany generate a balanced sound that works for any genre. Feel your power chords roar with throaty authority, while delicate fingerpicking rings out with piano-like clarity.
Burstbucker 61R and 61T Pickups for Vintage PAF Tone
The Burstbucker 61R neck and 61T bridge pickups deliver the warm, rich sound of Gibson's legendary Patent Applied For humbuckers. Loaded with Alnico V magnets and built to vintage specs, these pickups emulate the sought-after tone of late 1950s Les Pauls. Turn up the amp and they saturate with smooth, singing sustain. Back off the volume for clean, jazzy tones. With coil splitting, you can even get glassy single-coil tones at the flip of a switch. The Burstbuckers give this Les Paul vintage character with exceptional tonal versatility.
Grover Rotomatic Tuners for Precision Tuning Stability
The Grover Rotomatic kidney tuners provide rock-solid tuning stability, keeping your Les Paul in tune through any performance. Their 18:1 gear ratio allows for precise tuning adjustments, while the kidney buttons make changing strings fast and easy. Combined with the Les Paul's adjustable bridge, the Grovers let you dial in the perfect intonation for chords that ring true up and down the neck. With tuning accuracy you can count on, this Les Paul always sounds in tune.
A Striking, Limited-Edition Finish
Visually, the Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s Quilt makes an eye-catching statement with its transparent purple burst finish on a beautifully figured maple top. The bold yet classy color palette gives this Les Paul an extra degree of flair. As a limited edition model, it will stand out from other Standards. The vintage-inspired '60s neck profile, gold hardware and engraved pickguard complete the nostalgic design. Own a special piece of Gibson history, and experience the Les Paul tone and playability that has made it an icon for over 60 years.

Amazing looking and playing.

This guitar is absolutely gorgeous. Yes, it is very dark and will look black in dark lighting, but in the light, it is that beautiful dark purple burst that is promised. It is almost like having two guitars. Those 60's pickups are hot without getting muddy like the 50's. Obviously it pays great. This is the first Gibson I've owned and I've always heard about how lackluster or awful they are but I have had the opposite experience. I love this guitar.
The nicest sounding and best feeling guitar I've ever played

I picked up the beaut during Guitar Center's Guita-a-thon, and can't put the thing down. I'm a Fender guy and this is my first Gibson. I have to admit this guitar is on a whole new level!
