Gibson Les Paul Standard '50s Quilt Limited-Edition Electric Guitar Bourbon Burst
Description
The Gibson Les Paul Standard '50s Quilt limited-edition electric guitar pays homage to the classic Les Paul design that shaped sound across generations. With authentic '50s appointments, this stunning instrument blends vintage vibe with modern playability. This special axe has a solid mahogany body capped with a beautiful quilted maple top that projects full, singing tone. Its rounded '50s-style mahogany neck promises comfortable playability. With an ABR-1 bridge and stopbar tailpiece, vintage deluxe tuners and aged gold top hat knobs, this guitar nails iconic '50s esthetics. The Burstbucker 1 and 2 pickups, loaded with Alnico II magnets, recreate those coveted vintage tones. As a limited run, the Les Paul Standard '50s Quilt is a collectible tribute to Gibson's golden era.
Solid Mahogany Body and Quilted Maple Top for Resonant Tone
The Les Paul Standard '50s Quilt gets its deep, rich voice from a solid mahogany body capped with a stunning quilted maple top. Mahogany provides a strong midrange foundation, while the maple top adds clarity and definition. Together, they create a complex tone that's balanced across the frequency spectrum. The maple's unique quilted figure results in gorgeous esthetics. Whether playing rock riffs or mellow jazz chords, you'll feel the mahogany body resonate against your own, connecting you physically to your sound.
Rounded '50s Neck Profile for Extreme Comfort
Shredding solos is effortless with the Les Paul Standard '50s Quilt's rounded '50s neck profile. Its thickness fills your hand without feeling bulky or cumbersome. Smoothly contoured shoulders let your fingers move freely across the rosewood fingerboard and 22 medium-jumbo frets. The vintage-style 12" radius contributes to comfortable chord shapes and bends. Even during long gigs, this '50s neck profile maintains its fast, slick feel. The mahogany construction provides crisp note articulation.
BurstBucker Pickups for Versatile PAF-Style Tones
For authentic Gibson tones, the Les Paul Standard '50s Quilt has Burstbucker 1 (neck) and Burstbucker 2 (bridge) pickups. Made with Alnico II magnets and wound to vintage specs, they provide singing lead tones with rich overtones just like the legendary PAF humbuckers found in late '50s sunburst Les Pauls. The Burstbuckers easily take you from sweet, silky neck tones to raw, biting bridge tones perfect for aggressive soloing. With the 3-way toggle switch and two volume and tone knobs, you have total tonal control.
Vintage-Style Hardware for Authentic 50s Vibe
From its aged gold top hat knobs to keystone tuner buttons, the Les Paul Standard '50s Quilt nails iconic '50s Gibson style. The ABR-1 bridge and aluminum stopbar tailpiece provide rock-solid tuning stability and sustain, while giving a period-authentic look. Vintage deluxe tuners maintain precise pitch with their 18:1 gear ratio. Orange Drop capacitors and audio taper potentiometers retain faithful tone. With its ornate pickguard and bound body and neck, this Les Paul looks every bit the '50s classic.
A Striking, Limited-Edition Finish
Visually, the Gibson Les Paul Standard '50s Quilt makes an eye-catching statement with its transparent bourbon burst finish on a beautifully figured maple top. The bold yet classy color palette gives this Les Paul an extra degree of flair. As a limited-edition model, it will stand out from other Standards. The vintage-inspired '50s neck profile, gold hardware and engraved pickguard complete the nostalgic design. Own a special piece of Gibson history and experience the Les Paul tone and playability that has made it an icon for over 60 years.

I use for jamming at home & home studio. I gotta say I've had mostly lots of Fender, Ibanez, some solid Squiers. Now being my first Gibson, damn…i should've got one a long time ago. They are a bit pricey but now I see why after playing it & hearing the wide range of tones it delivers
