The Advanced Response profile utile neck ensures smooth, easy playability. The J-45 Studio Rosewood has an L.R. Baggs Element Bronze active under-saddle piezo pickup for studio-quality plug-and-play anywhere. A hardshell case is also included.

    I thought I would always love the gloss finish on Gibson guitars, then I got this one! The satin finish is flawless. Everyone says Mahogany and spruce is what makes a j-45. I think I this rosewood-spruce j-45 may change a few minds. One of the best guitars I have owned!

    This guitar is a beautiful sounding, well balanced and easy playing work horse. Went in with every I tension of walking out with either a j-45 standard or a Martin d-18. Happened to pick this one up out of curiosity and couldn't help but to keep circling back to it. The neck is what really does it for me with this one. I would recommend this guitar to others.

    Where is the access to the battery for the pickup?

    The battery is housed inside the guitar body, typically secured in a fabric pouch attached with Velcro to the neck block (the internal area just beneath the neck joint).
