Excellent acoustic for all levels of play
I am an aspiring player who really wants to learn all styles of guitar playing. I am a musician from the piano keyboard world who appreciates a fine instrument with great tone. The value here is second to none as you will not find a better overall performing guitar for the money. It excels in top end treble, low end is not lacking. Mid range may be a tad thin but not much. This is a great strummer, finger picker, flat picker and great for everything. Yes it's a grand, but you'll never buy another guitar after this. This is my forever acoustic.

Gibson QC is still REALLY BAD!
Glue visible all around the bridge, huge quarter size glue stain that was in the finish and had messed up the grain between bridge and sound hole. The guys at GC were even shocked at how bad it was. Gibson should be embarrassed. It also looked and felt "cheap" . Very disappointed. Really wanted a made in USA Gibson. My 30 year old Asian Washburn D-13N is a much nicer guitar. GC was happy to exchange for a Taylor. I know this was a "bad one" but this thing was a piece of garbage and an absolute ripoff at $1k. You can get a much better guitar for that price. You are paying for Gibson USA. Which means absolutely NOTHING in my book after this.

Best American made solid wood guitar for the money

Craftsmanship is excellent, it has a comfortable fell sitting in your lap, the neck has a comfortable feel. Low end was quiet when I first received this guitar. However, it has opened up quite well after having it and playing it. Can't beat this level of guitar for the price.
Absolutely perfect

Hard to describe how good this guitar feels in your hands. The sound is balanced and you can make the guitar do pretty much anything.

Guitar Center did an awful job with my order

My issue is not with the product, but with this vendor. This was my first time shopping with GC and I have had a terrible experience. I wanted to buy the G45 for my husband's bday. Unfortunately the first order I placed was cancelled due to a fraudulent hold. They did not even bother to call me to confirm it was indeed myself who placed the order. Then they re-ordered this for me, without my military discount. They kept giving me false dates and informing me it was backordered, however the site still states they have it in stock. One of their representatives told me to call Gibson directly to find out how far backordered they were. Representatives kept telling me they would call me back and never did. I'm truly disappointed. I went ahead and cancelled today and re-ordered through AMS. I will never shop with Guitar Center again.

What exactly does open box mean on the Gibson G45 Studio? Bought and returned or what? Still carry same warranty as new?
It means it's box has been opened and shows some signs of use. Minor scratches and the like. But it does still have the warranty included.submitted6 years ago

What size body and the difference between studio and standard
It's a standard Dreadnought, The difference is that the Studio doesn't have as many cosmetic upgrades, which gives it the lower price.submitted6 years ago
