    Coil tapped humbuckers, really make this USA Gibson versatile. The Babicz bridge has sustain for days. Minor adjustments to string height, and fret work on the dusty end of the bass are the only issues. I had Josh at Knoxville Guitar Center order this bass without hearing, and it was an awesome gamble. The Tobias like shape, maple neck, satin nitro finish, makes the best value for a USA made 5 string bass to date.

    are the frets sharp on the edge of fretboard? is the wood smooth under the "Satin finish"?
