I got the silver mist guitar. The first one I bought had a number of flaws from the Gibson factory. I return the first one and guitar center employee easily exchanged it with another one. The second one was great. The finish is awesome, sparkly silver. The pickups are very dynamic. The cleans are so good. The distortion is good as well. Pink case is really cool. Would recommend especially since they're were only like 250 made of each color when I called Gibson customer service.

What's the difference in specs between this guitar and the Les Paul Junior, aside from the truss rod cover?

Very little. That pick guard is a big difference.
