Couldn't be happier with this guitar. Out of the box it had a bright and lively sound with lots of volume. As I have played it over the last several months the bass response has opened up, and it now boasts a balanced, rich voice with excellent volume. The guitar is very playable and allows for good articulation up and down the neck. Oh, and did I mention it's LOUD? I own a 69' J-45 and a 2001 Sheryl Crowe Signature and this little guy easily holds its own with the dreadnoughts.

I really wanted to like this guitar as I've been looking for a parlor sized guitar for awhile. I got a great price from the GC online salesperson. It was on back order for several months. Out of the box it looked really nice. However the sound was very flat and dull. I had an Epiphone L-00 years ago and it sounded better than this one. I know sound is a subjective thing but with the cost of the guitar I did not want to wait for the wood to mature and not sure that it would improve the tone anyway. The wide-ish nut was good but the neck profile is to slim for me. My search continues on site and not online. I returned it.
