Every aspect of the original instrument has been meticulously recreated to deliver a playing experience that brings back the early days of rock n’ roll. Very lightly aged for added vintage appeal by the skilled artisans at Murphy Lab, the Gibson ES-335 features a Medium C mahogany neck, sharp horn cutaways and vintage-style nickel tuners. Equipped with a pair of Custombucker Alnico III pickups, this Gibson Custom reissue is identical to the original mid-‘60s ES-335 both inside and out. Murphy’s team gives this ES-335 a very lightly aged finish—only the lightest touches are utilized. You’ll see unique lacquer checking with minimal playing wear.
