From the picture, I wondered if it'd actually accommodate a tube tom arm mounted on a cymbal stand, but it does that job without a problem. So now I've got a 14" floor tom that takes some hard hits and this clamp is holding it in place. #sweepstakes

This multi clamp is great to hook onto a regular boom/cymbal stand for splashes or small crashes or even a smaller tom drum. And the price is great; so I will for sure get another one of these when I add to my set.

I use to clamp a sound module onto a cymbal stand. Clamp has enough overall length so that my 22" cymbal doesn't block my vision of or access to the sound module.
Inexpensive but does the job.

On a kit at my church, they had the top section of a tom stand(with 8"and 10" diameter toms)inserted into the base of a speaker stand. The base was far too big, so needless to say the stand was awkward to work with.So I had this idea: The cymbal stands on the kit are double braced,so I ordered 2 of these clamps, ditched the mismatched base, and attached the top section of the tom stand to a cymbal stand.I actually used 2 of these clamps to be sure the tom holder stayed straight and steady. This setup is working wonderfully.Gibraltar makes good stuff!
Ugly and pricey, but it's sturdy and does the job

This is Gibraltar Grabber is a highly-functional clamp and is quite sturdy. I am using it to hold up a cymbal boom arm (to a 18" crash) which has an add-on boom arm attached to it (with a 10" splash), so this guy is holding up a gangly mess. It does a great job, has never come loose, and holds my gear up quite sturdily. However, as far as aesthetics goes for drum hardware, this rates toward the bottom in my opinion. It's finish is not especially shiny, it doesn't look very solid, and basically feels more like something you'd find on a toy kit. A clamp this basic and unattractive should have a lower price. There are other good clamps out there at similar cost that add to, rather than detract from, the aesthetic appeal of your kit.
