    Using on a Gibralter stealth rack to hang a tom....and it works perfectly for that.

    Bought this single tom post mount to replace the factory PDP double tom mount. I frequently play "1 up", and the extra ball rod mount would interfere with ride cymbal placement. This Gibraltar post is excellent quality, far better than the factory one that came with my PDP Concept Maples. I also bought the Gibraltar ball L-rod to fit it. The PDP ball would have fit it, but the Gibraltar ball is much better quality. This way, I can switch posts to go from a 4pc to 5pc kit anytime.
