Gibraltar SC-CFS Small Cymbal Felt 4-Pack

These felt are just what I needed for my 10" fxo 5 splash/16" fxo 12 crash cymbal stack. They fit perfectly and allow me to tighten the stack down all the way. Great product!!

This helps at both the macro and especially micro steps of tuning. It helps you tune your drums individually to the shells and then as a set with gradual intervals, and most importantly getting the batter rebound and the corresponding reso head tuning to compliment whether you're looking for a fat or tighter sound. I'm proficient at tuning but theTune-Bot confirmed that, however it also revealed where my years of playing in bands and the resulting hearing loss affects certain ranges deficiencies and identifies them so I can get perfect tuning the way I want. I am a drummer that has to have the sound and feel to play my best and this little device delivers that! Whether you want a fat sound or tighter sound and feel, this shows you the range to achieve that, the tuning to stop irritating sympathetic snare buzz, and how to get a large set like mine in perfect graduating pitches without any two drums being too similar and without too wide of intervals as well that sounds odd. BUY THIS YOU WILL THANK ME AFTER LEARNING TO USE IT AND SEEING ALL THE POSSIBILITIES THAT OPEN UP—not to mention how much better you will play a perfectly tuned kit.

Well it's a felt. Nice n thick?

It's pretty small compared to other felts but that's why it is the "small cymbal felt pack." It's small size make it useful for certain uses. I suggest mixing the felt sizes, the small felt on the bottom and a thick felt on the top. The only downside is that it's gray and it kinda looks ugly and worn. I'd prefer if it was black. But that's my opinion. Also, if you are buying in large quantities, I suggest the Zildjian cymbal felt - 10 pack instead. Save some pennies. Gibraltar is still a very reliable company though. Good stuff.

perfect for most uses

I paired these the thicker felts. I put the thinner one on the bottom of the crash and the thicker one on top of the crash. It works perfect. Nice wobble with no choking.
