Gibraltar Stealth Vertical Mounting

Gibraltar

collapse expand iconDescription

Gibraltar's Stealth Vertical Mounting System (VMS) takes a minimalist approach to mounting hardware by showcasing the kit and removing the cluttered appearance of bulky tripods and rack bars spanning the bass drum. Best of all, Stealth VMS means you have less hardware to break down and carry after the gig.

The Stealth VMS creates a low-profile vertical mounting plane for mounted toms and the snare, creating a rock-solid foundation for any setup. This innovative mounting system works with virtually any kit configuration and can utilize existing tom and snare mounting hardware no matter what brand or size kit you play.

GSVMS comes with 3/4", 7/8", and 1" adjustable sleeves that accommodate most brands tom mount and snare basket.

Super stable and now can keep it semi-set up to allow quicker drum tear down and set up. I love that it keeps relationship of toms to snare l locked in. No guessing.

I love the look of less tripod on my footprint. This saves some serious real estate and works just like it should. My one complaint, is that even at it's lowest setting, my snare rides about 1.5" higher than I would prefer. I'm willing to overlook it, though. I think I'll look into the corresponding one for the opposite side of the kit.

  • Forget stands- this is where it's at!

Never again will I use separate stands! In short, the stealth rack is amazing. If you get one, you won't regret it. I recently got a new set of shells and needed something to mount the toms on. I knew I wanted an off-set arrangement, but all the double tom stands I found were bulky, heavy, difficult to get in place, and way too expensive for what you got. Not to mention that a sea of tripods is kind of ugly. Enter the stealth rack. The sleek lines of this mini-rack are pleasing to the eye, and the setup couldn't have been easier. Just clamp the various pieces together and you're done. You can then slip anything you want into the two vertical tubes. And when it's time to pack up for a gig, just throw the whole contraption into the car and you're done. No need to pull the tubes apart--it's so low-profile that you can transport it in one piece. The modular nature means that it can interface with other pieces of Gibraltar hardware. So if I decide to go for a full rack, I can integrate this piece into the setup. And even if I don't, I can still use the stealth rack to mount splashes, percussion pieces--far more than just a rack tom. I'll never go back to normal snare stands and tom holders. Stealth rack defeats all.

The only truly novel approach to drum hardware in many years. With an ultra adjustable and truly compact footprint, this system is capable of mounting most percussion items and accommodating most manufacturers hardware. Typical Gibraltar- although not as refined as top end, big name hardware, nonetheless, it is completely trustworthy - sturdy, durable, totally functional, with excellent quality control and very reasonable pricing.
