    Total new experience, unlimited positions for kit but be patient to find right set up for you. When you find it though you will never loose it and it will be same every time you break down and set up 👍👍

    What are the dimensions of each bar, horizontally? I'm going to rack one small tom on the left, 2 in the Middle, and a larger tom on the right...so I need to make sure it'll work before I buy it.

    The Gibraltar GCS-450C Chrome 3-Sided Rack System has a pretty generous layout and is commonly used for drum setups like yours. Here's a breakdown of the horizontal bar dimensions: Horizontal Bar Lengths: Front horizontal bar: 46 inches (about 117 cm). Left and right side bars: 30 inches each (about 76 cm each). Overview: The front bar (46") is the main span between the two side wings — this is where most people mount their central toms, cymbals, or other hardware. The side bars (30" each) give you solid mounting options for things like a small tom on the left and a larger tom on the right, as you're planning. Your Setup Compatibility: Left bar: Should be totally fine for mounting a small tom. Front bar (46"): Easily handles 2 toms in the middle with plenty of room between them and room for cymbal arms if needed. Right bar: 30" is more than enough space for a larger tom, and likely even a ride cymbal or accessory if needed. You’ll want to consider how far forward or back you angle the side wings — that can change the practical usable space, but you have flexibility there. Also, with Gibraltar clamps and adjustable memory locks, you’ll have full control over positioning.

    I currently use a 14 inch floor Tom on right near the hi hat and 16 and 18 in floor toms on opposite side. Can the floor toms be mounted to the rack ? And what clamps and rods would you recommend?

    Yes.......I think you would use the same clamp.
