Clean Decent Low End Power Amp

I purchased this for a home studio application. Hooked it up last night with some 3 Way speakers (12"" Woofer, 3 Tweeters and a horn etc) and it sounds very nice. Able to play my guitar, piano, electronic drum kit and vocals through it with very little ""air"" noise. Surprised as to how clean the sound is. I coupled this with a USB (Behringer) mixer. So far, so good!

Didn't work right, right out of the box.

Well, first off pwr light didn't light up. I still got sound, but not when I used bridge/stereo switch in bridge position. Speaker was plugged in bridge output and output from my boards AUX out, but no sound when switch was in bridge position, only sound when switched to stereo. Seem to be wired backwards. Will be returning to store.

Turned this thing on and could not believe how loud the fan was. We could not record without the fan coming through the microphone. We returned it.

Works great. The fan in the unit is too noisy. You definitely know the power amp is on.

It's a good unit for the price. Be aware that there is two versions of this unit out there. The new updated unit is the one that carries the RCA inputs as described in the current specifications. I still received the one without, not an issue for me but could see this being an issue for some. I bought this as a backup while on the road. The construction is more solid than expected. As far as the fan noise goes, it's not as loud as I think some exaggerated it to be but I could possibly foresee it being an issue in a small studio environment.
